Well Happy Holidays everybody! Just thought I'd take a minute and say thanks to everyone out here on the east coast for a great fall season. Also wanted to apologise to all of my Colorado clients for not being around this year. This is the first christmas season that I'm not doing any shows in Colorado and I am missing my friends and my family. But things are good here and all of you people out west are just gonna have to enjoy the snow for me because we don't get much down south here and I am really missing the ski slopes! I would also like to thank everyone for supporting me over the years, I feel so blessed to be able to make a living doing my art and it wouldn't be possible without all of you. It has been an amazing last 7 years and I am looking forward to great things to come. Feel free to email me anytime if there is anything you'd like to see made out of glass or just to say hello, I'd love to hear from you! I hope this Christmas season is great for you all and that the New Year brings you lots of laughter and good times.
August 25th 08' Well haven't posted much here but I thought I'd just mention that I will be in Colorado from August 29th til the 6th of Sept. And I will be doing the Commonwheel Festival in Manitou Springs on the 30th 31st and the 1st. So if anybody wants to go to a good arts and crafts show, this is the one.I will be leaving on wednesday and driving out there by my lonesome,I am not looking forward to the drive, but I am kind of excited about it at the same time, being on the road helps me examine my life and remind me of the things that truly matter. The main reason I am going out there is to celebrate my brothers 30th birthday on the 4th and then I thought it would be good to do a show out there while I'm at it and reconnect with all the Colorado folks, then my two brothers and I are leaving to go to Seattle for a week for my grandpa's 80th birthday. So I am going to be doing alot of examining of life, and putting a whole lot of miles under my tires by the time I get back here to North Carolina I will have driven over 5500 hundred miles in roughly 3 weeks.... Crazy! But it is going to be fun and good to see some family out west. Maybe I will some of you all out there, but take care and enjoy the rest of summer if I don't, Peace.
November 23rd,2007 Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Well folks, it has been a crazy summer as a few of you that have been trying to get ahold of me know. I apologize for my inadequate communication over the last few months but life has just been about as busy as I've ever experianced it to be. Went to Italy in July with my wife Brittany, and had an absolute blast. Saw tons of art work and we were in awe of the history of the country and it's people. The glass work of the Murano glassblowers was very inspiring and being there made me feel even more connected to the glass world. It was a great trip! We got back from Italy on the 27th of July and moved out to Asheville North Carolina on the 2nd of August, so needless to say it was a hectic return. But the move went smoothly and we have really been enjoying the area that we now live in. It's VERY different from the Colorado that I have spent most of my life in, so it has been a challenge getting used to certain aspects of living in the south(like the humidity) but what would life be without challenges? We found a wonderful new house to buy within the first five days that we were here; it is a big house with a huge yard for the dogs and it has an amazing out-building that I have spent the last 7 weeks turning into my new studio. I have discovered that I am not a carpenter and that I had better stick to my day job! It has been a challenging adventure, but I have learned alot about building and about myself and I am glad that I have taken it all on. I am about 80% done with the studio and probably won't be finished with it until the new year as christmas is coming and I have had to shift from building to glassblowing, which is a good thing as I have discoverd that home improvement is an expensive undertaking! I will post some pictures as soon as I get them taken. I will be in Colorado for the Colorado College Arts Bizarre Nov. 30th dec 1st and 2nd, if any of you Colorado people want to stop by I would love to see you! And I will be keeping you all better informed on our activities down here so feel free to drop me an email anytime!
